Halloween Happenings 2014

Check out some of the local trick or treating events happening for Halloween!

And don't forget to submit your costumed cuties in the Moms in Tow Halloween Costume Contest!

Friday, October 24 

Halloween @ Van Raalte Farm (5-7:30) Discover wild creatures and fun activities and treats along a wooded trail. Enjoy cider and a cookie (included in your admission) at the end along with a campfire ($3)

Treats and Trails at the Outdoor Discovery Center (5-8) There will be wildlife encounters, face painting, games and lots of candy. Don't miss a barrel ride through the nature preserve or seeing the live birds of prey. The Founders Wildlife Exhibit Hall will be open for exploration and light refreshments. ($5/vehicle)

Zoo Goes Boo (10-3) Every day of BOO is different…but every day is packed with entertainers, decoration, special animal activities, games, prizes…and the Kooky-not-spooky TRICK-OR-TREAT trail. ($7)

Saturday, October 25

Downtown Holland Trick or Treating (10-12) Bring the whole family- in costume- to Downtown Holland for Trick or Treating. Children are invited to dress up in their Halloween costumes to trick-or-treat at participating merchants! Participating merchants will have an orange balloon on their door.

Family Fun Day at the Holland Museum (10-12) the Holland Museum lobby will be decorated for Halloween. There will be crafts, candy, music, and facts about the history of Halloween and Halloween in Holland. Admission is free.

Wednesday, October 29

Ridgepoint Church Trunk or Treat (6-8) Popcorn and cotton candy, street performers and balloon artists, inflatables and more candy than you can fit in a trunk of a car.

Friday, October 31

*Holland neighborhood trick or treat times are 6-8. Zeeland is 5-8, check out more cities here

Downtown Zeeland Trick or Treat (3-5:30) Trick or treat bags, music, balloon animals, apple cider & donut holes, cotton candy, and so much more!

Maplewood Reformed Church Pumpkin Festival (5:30-7:30) Carnival with hot dogs, donuts, tons of candy, photo booth, carnival games, cake walk, etc.

Noordeloos CRC Trunk or Treat (5:30-7)

Zion Lutheran Church Trunk or Treat (5:30-7) Plenty of candy outside and they will have cookies and cider inside.

North Holland Reformed Church Trunk or Treat (5:30-8) Free hotdogs served tfrom 6-7 and trunk or treat from 7-8.
